Latin’s intriguing,
but why must we travel through
class at breakneck pace?

It's a "dead" language.
Perhaps class must be dismissed
'ere rigor mortis?

My great-uncle taught me this rhyme:
‘Latin is a dead language,
As dead as dead can be.
It killed off all the Romans,
And now it’s killing me.’

I might have to get to class early and write that on the blackboard someday…
