Coffee is cooling in cup
Not all drank tonight.

A Mother's Anger

On ex's FaceBook:
Imminent move to SC.
Did not warn his kids!

It's why I prefer
my birds for relationships
People are cruel.

Frozen grapes, a snack.
This treat really is year-round.
Still tweaking process.

Ten below zero
Four chickens in the basement
Nervous for the rest...

I braved the snow fall
To bring them all sustenance
"Too cold!" say their squawks.

One hungry Leghorn,
And one quite young red Cochin,
Unfazed, helped themselves.

Expect many more black-outs,
Mother nature's rules.

She threw a curve ball
Wind turbines iced up out west,
Large loss of output.
