Non sequitur haikus

(seriously. I fed her a chunk of potato and the next thing I knew she has both feet In my soup and is spilling it on my lap. I dropped it and ran. I watched fearfully from inside as the horde descended. When they dispersed, the bowl was empty.)
a feeding frenzy.
fleet-footed frivolous freaks;
fancy foreign food.

The middle of the night
Awake I still am, and I smile
As my roosters crow.

Such silly things, cocks
Singing at night, in the dark
The ladies ignore.
Ah, I sure do wish
That I had such a rooster.
But sometimes I don’t.
first, follow feathers.
steady symbol shadows seven.
follow fleet fingers.
Confusing. But alas,
That is a regular thing.
Birds, explain it to me.
