Non sequitur haikus

Is it over yet?
Can we come out now and be -
Be like we once were?

Fear doth make me stay
Safely tucked inside, and wait.
Wait for better days.

My heart wants a hug
But fear pulls my reaching arms
Back across my chest.

My heart leaps for joy;
My loved one is now so near!
Only eyes may kiss.

I looked in his eyes
As, breathing his last; "Be happy,"
He told me, and died.

June of '97,
My grampa passed in my arms.
He returned in dreams.

I loved his message.
His wings were waiting for him;
Helping angels first!

Helping souls across;
He said he was having fun.
They were on a cloud.

Nice that you were comforted, EM.
I tried to make an in theme complimentary reply showing parallel Truthful comforting from those that pass before our eyes. 'Twas more difficult then I expected. I hope this (is appreciated) makes sense, out of haiku formating.

We're not just "chicken buddies" here. :hugs
I will just say, of the last haiku in that set: I lost a husband in '04 to leukemia. That one was for him. We had three wonderful years together and he accepted the Lord before he died. I know I will see him again and that gives me both joy and comfort.
