Originally Wales, but now England. That may not seem much of a difference, but believe me, if you're Welsh, it's significant!

OK...where in Norway? Inquiring minds want to know! My grandfather was born in Oslo, and I have traveled to Norway twice!

I was born there too, but I'm half west and half east originally (Oslo is kind of east, but not the farthest east). And now I live in the south!

Where did you go when you came? What did you do?

Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Narvik with "boat stops" between Trondheim and Narvik. I was a tourist!!! What a beautiful country!

(Just follow the line of the Bristol Channel (on the west coast) a little further inland on a map, and you'll quickly run into it.) It's about 15 minutes drive away from Stratford Upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Oh and 'Hi' fellow Brits!

Next time you should visit the south in spring or summer. It's beautiful, but a bit tourist crowded. Go on a boat trip in the waters between Norway and Denmark and visit the small harbortowns with all their white wooden houses.

For some reason, when I read this post and clicked on your reference link to look at the photos, they are MY photos that I loaded on my personal page when I first became a member here....wonder how that happened? Check it out...you'll see an older lady holding a child, a photo of a bird about to go into a birdhouse with a beautiful sky backdrop, etc.
