I tried to hatch some eggs few months ago and it was a fail... I thinks it's cause I didint have the egg turner but I am going to buy one very soon and try again..

Do you put the top pointy side of the egg in the egg turner hole? Or the flater bottom side of the egg in the hole?

Does the egg turner help alot with hatch rate?

Big end up, small end in the hole, I think turners make a difference in hatch rates because you are not constantly opening the bator and letting the humidity out.

With chicken or guinea eggs having an auto turner makes a big difference to me. But with duck and goose eggs, I usually have better hatch rates hand turning them. Better luck with your next hatch
