Noob from Michigan

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on the site for awhile now and figured I better just be part of the community

I am new to chickens and have had my 3 girls for 2 weeks now! I live in Western Michigan with my husband and 3 1/2 year old twin girls ( My husband joked he wanted a rooster so there would be another dude around hehe). I am a licensed veterinary technician and work in the ICU/ER. Birds are the only type of animal I have no experience with!

I am so grateful for all the information on this site and look forward to meeting some new peeps hehe.
