noob to BYC - HEllo from Raleigh, NC

Hey all! Glad to have found this awesome place! I have 6 hens atm; 3 Black Australorps and 3 mixies (Australorp, Americana, Polish Crested) from my friend's farm. I have had my girls for 2 years now. I live in a city that allows 12 hens per "plot" and roosters are allowed if they are quiet (LOL) after 11pm until like 6 or something. I am a landscape designer/mom of two boys and am currently studying medicinal herbs and fungi and hope to get into holistic medicine in order to help others (I am a retired nurse). I hope to meet lots of new friends here and learn more about my girls...
