noob...what are the basics?

hi everyone, am thinking of adding a couple ducks to the flock for fly control- what are the basics, and what breed are the most common at feed stores like TSC?? is a pond necessary? ours dries out in the summer...

Welcome! Everything you will need to know about ducks usually can be found in the searches here. Feed, housing, etc. Not sure what breeds TSC will carry but probably Pekin. Ponds are not necessary but they do love to swim just make sure they have water deep enough to bury their bills in. Ducks are messy but tons of fun.
