I have read on here that you can put them in a wired bottom cage for a few days to get them over being broody. The cage must be elevated off the floor so that air can get under the hen.
 
When you get her out, i would put her someplace like a wire cage, or a pet carrier , with no bedding, just food and water, until she knocks off her broodiness.

Also, for pecking hens, just put your hand in there fast, hopefully before they have a chance to focus on you - and cover her face with your hand. She can't see; she won't peck - or bite.
