I am so sorry! Was it your dog? If not, I would have a talk with the dog owner to see if he/she would replace them. I know you can't really "replace" them once you are attached, but they should buy you some new ones.

Im sorry I had a duck for 9 years and last year the neighbor's new hunting dog got him, I left a note on their door 2 pages long asking them to please keep their dog up, they didn't so I called animal control their kept up now but they got 3 or 4 more dogs I hope they don't get out again, the one that got my duck tried to bite my mother
