Nope!

Count me in!

1. 40 Mix Coturnix Quail-- A&M, Manchurin, Tibetans, and Tuxedo setting May 6th expected hatch- May 23rd
2. 15 Mix Colored Silkies-- Black, Splash, Reds, Buffs, and Lavender setting May 10 expected hatch June 1
3. 30 mix Bobwhite Quail- Butler, Orange, White setting May 10 expected hatch June 1

This is a very exciting hatch because it is my first with the students that I teach. They picked what kind of eggs they wanted and that is why it will be a staggered hatch. I've had success with staggered before, but this is the first time using a Brinsea. I hope it all goes well. Good luck to all!

Hatch a long then, last chance for me, I really hope my bator is finally good now!!

Set 4 silver laced wyandottes and 3 sulmtalers, hatching date around may 26. I use a Brinsea mini advanced!

Fingers crossed!!

After 4 times of trying I really hope this will be the first hatch in this bator!!

I was SO hoping this contest would run again in May! I'm a first time hatcher. My anticipated hatch date is May 14th. I have set 9 BCM's, 3 BW Marans, 6 Salmon Faverolles, and 4 Light Sussex/Black Orpington? crosses. (Not sure who the daddy might be since mating took place before we picked her up from the breeder!)
I'm using the Brinsea Octagon 20 with auto turn cradle and I love how easy it is so far. So

, hoping I'll see some chicks in another 9 days!

I could really use that prize - candling has not been easy with my little flashlight.

Go to Lowe's and buy a Task Force LED flashlight. It's like 150 lumens and works wonderful. It's like $25 or so! Chickenfever recommended it to me and I am sure glad I got it. I also found that turning the egg to the side and also trying to shine it up through the air cell made it so I could see much more!!! HTH

So far I have 5 out of 6, (pipping now) lavender Ameraucanas out, 2 out of 5 olive egger X's out, 2 more pipping, 1 out of 5 lav Amer X Coro Sussex out, and 1 out of 5 projects out. This is gonna be a great hatch!

It really is a great flashlight. Made a world of difference for me. I saw a flashlight at Sams club that was 200 Lumen. With that you could prob see clear thru the egg!!! I didnt get it though. Husband said I already had one and mine does work well. Though I will gladly take a Ovascop from Brinsea!!!!

Now to get out my Word document and update the new participants.
