We were given one of these unbeknownst to us as a four week old, we just thought is was a random black chicken, however, as it has gotten older, the marking on the hackle has become very evident, and has the slate colored legs, black eyes, red facial markings, large body. She is a sweet little lady... But shy... I will try to get a pic of her soon for you...

I bought my eggs from Belle Bantams in Norfolk, UK, and transported them to our house in France. We had 100% hatch rate, despite the long journey and unstable conditions of the journey. They are gorgeous chicks and VERY feisty!

Is my girl a Norfolk grey? She was a gift from a friend.m who got her from a feed store as a chick.

she looks like one, though her silver-grey throat markings seem very muted - the beetle-green sheen in the black body, black eyes and legs are characteristic. What colour eggs does she lay?
