Normal egg inside big soft shelled egg layed by hen!

My hen Doris was doing the egg squat like when a chicken lays a egg and this weird liquid came out... I think it was water from inside her.
I saw a huge soft shelled egg coming out so I put my hand under her to catch it but I missed and it hit the roost and inside it cracked and there was a normal sized egg inside of the huge soft shelled egg! Besides the normal egg inside there was also some water inside.
I don't have a picture because when I brought it inside I picked the soft shell of to see the normal egg inside. I'll post a picture of the normal egg in a minute.
Who else has had one of there weird but cool eggs?

I haven't gotten one of those eggs in particular from any of my pullets, but I know of someone who did and it was nothing to worry about. It's just one of those abnormal things that happen.

Don't worry about that. Just focus on making sure your chicken has enough calcium. I recommend buying oyster shells and spreading those around the coop. You can even feed them their own eggs shells after you let them dry.
