Normal for a newly laying pullet to not lay for a few days?

My Black Copper Marans laid her first egg on the first of the month. In the first six days, she laid four eggs. But now she hasn't laid since the sixth. There isn't anywhere she could be hiding eggs, and she's acting normally. Am I correct in thinking this isn't egg binding, just her body still getting used to laying?

Yes, it's normal for them to skip a few days before they get their stride.

Most inconsistencies are absolutely normal. Getting an egg is normal, not getting an egg is normal.
Another BYC member likes to remind us, "they aren't egg machines, they are animals that feed us breakfast."
