normal for new egg layer to skip days??

My May pullet just laid her first egg 2 days ago..but no eggs since, I just wanted to see if this was normal or should I begin to worry? She went up in her nest box yesterday and made a big ruckus like she laid, but she didn't. Please just tell me I am being a spaz and I have nothing to worry about!

I wouldn't worry, she's getting the hang of it, but my pullet started laying and was giving me eggs for a week when all of a sudden i didn't get an egg for 3 days, then i went away and dh was looking after the girls, I came back and found a hidden nest with 6 eggs in it, the day I went away another pullet started laying and dh didn't see the difference in the egg so had no idea it was a different bird laying the little white egg.

It's perfectly normal. It sometimes takes them awhile to get into the swing of things.
