Normal for Silkies?

I've seen online where people have made little chicken sandals for newborn chicks to straighten their toes but you have to do it right away.

I think it would be good for you to post on the "Silkie thread," - lots of breeders, lots of photos, so you can see what is normal for silkies and what is not. They don't have to be mixed, they just may be poor quality ( ie, roo with white skin). Even in litters from show winners, all chicks will not be show quality. I believe you said you wanted them as lawn ornaments and they are surely that.

Oh yeah. They are adorable. That's all they are meant to be. I was just scared about their health. Everything else we have raised from baby chicks. These are our first adult birds we have gotten. I'm probably just overly worried about that.
