Normal poo?

So most of the time my chickens pass a little pile of poo balls! (Only way I can think to describe them). But they also pass more watery “splats”. Is this normal? They’ve always done this since I got them, and have been regularly wormed.

Are you feeding fruits/veggies, that will cause loose poops.
Describe age, housing, feed, so people will be better able to advise you .....

Chickens have 2 "types" of poop. One is what would be called "normal poop" this is a firm(ish) formed (most of the time) poop that usually has a white cap. The other one is called "cecal poop" this is a loose stinky, sticky pudding like poop.

Depending on diet, weather and other factors poop can look different in color, texture and even smell.

Thank you for the reply I will try and get some pics today. The one type has the white cap you describe, but the other is very watery.

Also they’re two years old, get fed layers pellets and a little corn. Are in a 9 meter squared run with coop
