SERIOUS racism?! What part of the state do you live in?

I'm a LI, NY transplant and there was more racism there than I've ever seen here in NC. Granted, I've lived in the Triangle for the majority of it and between NCSU, UNC and Duke there is enough culture for everyone. I currently work at Duke....I feel like I'm on a human Noah's Ark there is so much diversity! I love it. NC is great....except maybe for the humidity. Nothing a porch and some sweet tea won't fix though.
