It's very good, chex cereal, peanut butter & chocolate coating then dusted in powdered sugar. Also known in the south as "white trash".

I got some recently at the store, chex mix is now selling it themselves. Not bad for bag instead of homemade.

I can't believe you haven't had Puppy Chow before!! It's also called Monkey Munch and according to HT "white trash" which just cracks me up!! I will be sure to save you and your kids some (takes literally NO time to whip up a batch) and who doesn't love peanut butter, chocolate, powdered sugar and Chex cereal?? I haven't seen the bagged stuff that HT mentioned, but

nothing beats home-made (although it is virtually impossible to make a "small" batch...so if you only want a little, perhaps the store bought is the way to go!!). I don't know why it's called Puppy Chow...at least Reindeer Poop is suppose to look like poop if you make it in the "pellet" form. Mine turned out more like Cow Pies, but that still worked for them, right??

Y'all are making me hungry! I need to get some baking done, but I haven't had the energy. First I must run errands all over the area (Gaston, Lincoln and Cleveland county). At least I found hubby's wallet--so I have some money.

Wow... and I mean WOW! That is a LOT to get through. I'm spending the afternoon finishing our baking list as well.

We already did some sugar cookies with royal icing so the kids could decorate them.
Did some fruit cake cookies and of course biscotti.
Doing creamcheese cookies today, and peanut butter thumb prints.

Then I don't want to look at my oven for at least a week! HAHAHAHA

This week my baking agenda is:
Chocolate Chip cookies
Sugar cookies(drop cookies...I HATE doing cut outs)
Thumbprint cookies
Resee Cups
Double-Fudge Rasberry mini cakes covered in chocolate
mini-M&M cookeis

Individual PB pies.

I'm also working on a big batch of butter to give out to family from out of town. Then I'm making buttermilk pies with all the buttermilk.

3-4 batches of yeast/dinner rolls for the ham/cheese sammiches for Christmas.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone in NC, I am currently in fayetteville and doing a little backyard operation. Currently residing in the yard is 3 cinnamon queens (breakfast, lunchbox, and dinner) and 3 buff orpingtons (unnamed) and my indoor colony of 2 adolescent black silkies and 9-5day old silkie chicks (2 blue, 3 partridge, and 4 splash) I'll put pictures up soon.
