You mentioned yesterday she seems to be shuffling her legs..... If it is mareks paralysis will come, some birds it affects quickly others slowly over time then one day they can just no longer use their legs.

for her but you know your girl and her quality of life. I know culling is a very hard thing to do but being a fact of owning poultry it must be done sometimes.

I am not sure she is lavender, I held her up to a lav AM, looks more beige....
hu.gif
How I wish my camera could catch the exact color.
tongue.gif

I am excited to see how the color is as she gets older.
I will give it a few more days and get new photos.
Here is a picture of the babies moved into the playpen.... don't look like some many anymore.
lol.png

I may need to separate the bantams in a day or two, so they don't get swallowed up by the LFs.

new home, soak her again in warm water and rub her belly between her legs. I lost my golden lakenvelder to internal egg laying. I didn't know she was, I got one egg and than nothing so I thought she was just starting. Than one day she was squatting with no egg so I felt her and she was hard between the legs. I soaked her, but she died in my hands. (very flightly breed, think she had a heart attack) After failed cpr I had to try to save the egg (as I cant find this breed) , but all 8 eggs were soft shelled and bad

But up til that day she showed no signs of being egg bound or sick. Good luck.
