Does anyone know about Langshan chickens???? have any experience with them?

Thinking about trying some as they sound like they are a good duel purpose bird
and if the egg color is what I seen then I defiantely want a few

I am still looking for some chickens if anyone near me can help please let me know. I am in need of a LF rooster to lead my flock of hens. My flock is mixed but mainly filled with dual purpose birds and I would like to have a dual purpose rooster for them as well. I am interested in cochins, brahmas, barred rocks, opingtons or any other LF dual purpose birds. If anyone has an extra rooster who needs a flock of ladies to keep him company please let me know. Right now I have two bantam roosters and bantams just don't fit into my goals for the future of my flock so if you can it would be appreciated.

4 little turkeys in the incubator. Quick little buggers, I locked down last night, saw they were internally pipped and they all hatched today. They were due on Sun.

So yeah.......... dry incubation works for turkey. Never added water until last night, 53% and they popped right out.

Lol. Ya that is a good name. Did you order SR and they did that for you? That's a great idea really. All my new babies come Monday and I'm praying for all girls. I did order them sexed but got 2 Silkies they couldn't sex and 1 free mystery bird that I would really love for all 3 to be females too. We shall see.

The free mystery chick will be a rooster for sure. I have never heard of someone getting a free hen.

Who did you order from? I got a free mystery chick from McMurray, since I ordered all bantams, I got a black tailed buff Japanese rooster. We will be waiting for pictures.
