North Carolina

We are in Asheville enjoying 2 RIR's and 2 Barred Rocks. We are getting three eggs a day now, even though the weather is getting colder.

Hi from Bryson City, Priddy Birds! Our elder production Rhode Island Red hen started laying again not too long ago. Maybe some of them like the colder/shorter days? Our Australorp x EE has too.

monroe, east of Charlotte. Came here in '72. Went home to Seattle for a couple years and I was homesick for here the whole time I was there.

The locals say there's Yankees, and then there's danged Yankees. The danged Yankees are the ones that came and stayed.

I tell the locals that it's all their fault that I came and stayed. The people here are wonderful!

We've lived in Hubert, Onslow County since March 05'. Bought our 1st chicks in 06' and fell in love with chickens ever since. Currently have 2 glw hens, 2slw hens, 1rir hen, 2br roos and 1 white and brown mix roo. Who says you can't have your chickens and the ocean too

I'm in Shelby NC - I have 3 buff colored bantams and 3 old english bantams....(1 roo each and 2 hens) They are living in a tractor that my husband built and they seem to like it. We got them at a show up past Statesville. Looking forward to learning more and meeting people!
