I was afraid it would be an expensive proposition to get the one at Walmart to work. I had to get my FIL to bring me home a thermostat from where he works cause Lowes was out of the single wafer ones. That cabinet of yours is (to quote my son) sweet. I cannot wait to see it in action.

I forgot to mention... Went to TSC to get some egg cartons and saw that they had bantam chicks in, silkies to boot - very hard to walk away from them, but I did. Probably cause my hubby was with me giving me dirty looks, LOL. They had 4 little ducklings too, I was holding up my 3yo and she yelled "hey baby duckies! We are here to rescue you!" - I told her no we are not... Too much Wonder Pets.

I was wondering if knows of or where I could find some Buttercups. We went and visited a friends flock so we could learn more and the smallest of their flock was the number in the flock and he was BEAUTIFUL .... a buttercup. Even my DH who has not gone has chicken crazy really liked him, so much I he has decided he wants a rooster to watch his girls as they are out free ranging. We will be getting our chicks on April 23 so I am looking to find one in that time frame.

Home for the WCA. Another successful and fun day. Love meeting up with everyone.

Came home with some cages, nest boxes, eggs (lots) and a beautiful pair of black masked blue lovebirds for my mom.

Off to set eggs.....

all new flockers. Had fun at the wca (wicked chicken auction). It was great to see some bycers again.

Congrats on your hen Henthymes, and all the chicks hatching and selling everyone got done.

Cary, not far from Raleigh - not allowed hens in Cary (yet!) but I'd love to meet hen keepers in the area. I had hens back in the UK and I miss them greatly. Let me know if I can visit/meet/ or even look after your hens when you are away. I am at my happiest cleaning out a coop

So got all the eggs picked up at the auction in the incubator plus 2. (RF) The other eggs are on the waiting list.

I will be able to get them in mid week.

It is like a chick factory here.
