its amazing how quickly they have grown in just a week. These are my "self-blue" (or lavender) cochins from HT...can you guess who the roo is lol

Those cochins really are beautiful. I almost bought a few when I got my silkies but I don't think the guy really wanted to part with his birds since he only let me buy a pair and no more. lol

But then how would I get my minute by minute play of what is being auctioned? Worse yet...who would fill in on your egg addiction?? Your bator might actually .... be ....

VFem- I am SO ready for you to start updating about the garden!! I can't figure out if any of my cold weather crops are actually going to flourish because ... well, it really hasn't been cold! I will have to take photos of our garden once the fence is completely up and finished so you can see...then we move on to building grape vine supports and tilling another plot for winter wheat & oats!! LOL. I still need to borrow that green thumb of yours!!

Didn't sleep much last night...either I am too excited about my "girls day" or I am going to give birth to a night owl...sadly I think the latter might be more accurate!! GRR!!

I did manage to get all the laundry done (just not folded...LOL) and spent a LOT of time trying to figure out the secret to keeping a chicken's saddle on. Going to remake a few today and hopefully make them smaller/tighter so they cannot slip off as easily. I now have 3 hens who have bald spots, 2 of them are red and 1 on occasion looks bloody!! This is a MUST fix!! I hope everyone has a great day!! It's snowing/hailing where my family is, so I will take a day of rain and 63!! Hehe.
