Hi everyone! I haven't been posting for a while, very busy few weeks at work. too tired in the evenings to do much except to look at all the great pics of all the adorable babies!! I have been reading several posts referring to this thing called "chicken addiction" but thought nothing of it! However, it is true!!

AND, we have been infected!! Here are our symptoms.........We started with 3 random chickens we found on Craigslist, Spent $500 building our 1st coop.

we call it Coop de Ville on Blueberry Hill!! Then we heard about WCA, and off to Clayton we went, vowing NOT to buy any roosters, maybe a hen or two. Came home with 3 roosters and 1 hen!!

And so it began.....DH began to build and fence like crazy! We met more infected people, and got more chickens. As of today, a mere 6 months later we have 6 fenced in coops in the back yard ( we have a large back yard ) and 25 chickens.

Not to mention the 2 goat kids in the very back yard!! AND, we have 40 chicks ordered!! I am not sure if there is a cure for this aliment, or IF we even want it!! We are enjoying our birds so much! I get about 8 to 10 eggs a day, we have a lot not laying yet. And, I can't keep up with the egg requests at work! It gets worse.......we bought an incubator, it holds 40 eggs, do you see where this is going??? Friends think we are crazy. Family thinks we are crazy. But if we are......leave us alone cause we are having a blast!!!
