6.5-7 ounces of Oxine in 1 Gal of water is what is used to fog/mist birds. If you bought with it the citric acid crystals DO NOT use them. This activates the Oxine and releases the suspended clorine into a gas. If that is breathed in you and any animal that breathes it will get really sick or die. Unactivated Oxine AH is completely safe. In fact it is one of the approved cleansing agents for drinking water. Kills 99% of all bacteria, viruses, and fungus.

Thank you for the info on oxine! I got oxine AH, so I'm off to spray everyone down! I'm hoping it will help my golden retrievers ears, he has had an on going problem with both a bacterial and fungal infection.
