well dh is happy his homemade bator out of wood has eggs developing in it

for someone not into "MY" chickens.

so what happened with lukes bird at the swap Hollow?

I was hoping he'd be around to tell it himself, but I guess not.

One of his birds got loose in the parking lot.

She wasn't about to get recaptured, despite the people trying to get her, and "helpful" children.

Then one young man...maybe 12-13?....literally ran her down and caught her!

I told him he ought to be on the track team.

(It doesn't sound nearly as interesting in the telling as it did to be watching it!)

Anyone else around in NC have Showgirls? I'm looking to get eggs or chicks...my daughter wants a couple more and the 2 dozen eggs I bought were a bust after the PO rifled through the box and scrambled all the eggs.

Of course I went

They took all the comfy chairs out and put in some sucky, flimsy bleachers. Boards were popping loose under folk's feet... no cushion for achy butts... and we got leg cramps from short spacing between seating and foot boards. 3 people almost fell through the boards. I sure hope Cody re-thinks the bleacher situation. People were not happy.
It was a very short auction due to holiday... only 200 boxes and we were out of there by 4pm.

Thanks Mary for the info. I just learned some things I will need to know when we go the 22nd. Like if you bid it will be multiplied by the number of animals in the box. I would never have know that. I can't wait to go. So excited. Even got myself a "chilling with my peeps shirt". Really hope to meet somebody you asvwell and help me with the auction.
