love.gif

Thank You. They are my first. A few friends have come over to see them and cant believe how they dont mind being held and using your arm to roost.

So I took some photos of my new chickies today, but I will post those tomorrow. There are a lot of pics. They are one week old, but first I thought I would post my teenagers: My first silkies. I can tell such a difference from these than the ones I got from the hatchery. This is Popcorn and Butter Why do I think this is so cute? This is Bunny another EE. She is not as outgoing as Easter, but still jumped on me after Easter did: This is Duckie. I got him/her at local Flock Swap from a little boy just because: This is Easter she literally kept jumping up on my arm. I was out there a lot today working on a secure area from them to go outside. She is an EE.
Cute chicks! The silkies are really pretty.

Howdy All!
to all the new folks.... I hope you come to enjoy the BYC forum, as much as I do.

I bought a few seramas at the WCA today... (one of which, was a rooster of Beth's)
A pair of button quail... (Beth's also)
2 Turkey hens... Which made my male turkey very happy.
6 Buff italian quail, 2 madagascar game chicks and 9 white rocks to raise for freezer camp.

I will take some pics of my new lovelies tomorrow.

Meanwhile, here is a pic of my first ever "Broody hen"
She is one of my Mille Fleur D'uccle.... we put 8 bantam eggs under her when she decided to start setting.

She is so cute!
Well, I hope everyone has a great week! Ugh... weekends never last long enough!

Thanks for the eggs again, Beth.... By the way, what is the "fun ee"??
