I do plan to keep 3 blues and 3 splashes from this first hatch, to grow out to take to the next chickenstock with me! And I'll be sure to let you know about any extra pullets! :lau :th I just bought two 2'x10' coops and one 3'x10' coop that's split in half! Well really like a hutch/tractor. But now I have plenty of space! Right!? Right??

they are so very cute!
Thanks! They are fitting in really well, even with the ducks. Pretty soon, they will be separated though because I can already tell the ducks have grown and the little ones keep getting wet. I can tell from the other room when the ducks have made a mess because the little D'uccle will sit there and cheep at the mucky water until I come give them fresh.

So, not written too much here recently, but just wanted to let you all know one of my broody Silkie hens hatched an egg this evening...... If all the eggs hatch then that will be 18 more chicks to come....
