My incubator got here today, it was super easy to set up, and the instruction aren't hard to follow! I can't wait to set eggs!

Planned on doing some sewing but got side tracked by recipe searching, then experimenting and before I knew it...it was 4:30!! LOL...oops!! Tonight DH & I are going to move the broody (Dutchess) as she has been getting kicked out of her nest by mama and what seems like everyone else. She had 8 eggs but I took all but 3 from her as I am getting eggs from some fellow BYC'ers!!

We have so many eggs around here... we are running 3 incubators, have 3 large plastic tub brooders full of chicks and still can't get ahead of the eggs coming outta our chickens butts!

We have recently wormed our community chicken pen... so we cannot eat their eggs for a couple weeks.... and they produce a dozen every 4 days or so... anybody need some mutt chicken eggs to incubate? The Roo is an Americauna.... Hens are Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, Black Astrolop... all are great egg layers.
