Okay, I have the flyer for the Local Foods Connection Conference on March 22. I've had a couple people pm me their interest, but I think I'll need email addys to send these two documents. One is a pdf. So, if you don't mind, pm me your email addys and I'll send you the information! It's going to be fun, and we'll learn a lot!

Pembroke, NC. The conference is free. Local foods lunch is $5 if you want it, but you have to sign up for that ahead of time.

Poor hubby is having to fend for himself when it comes to food the past few days. All I want to eat is meat yet the smell of it makes me sick. LOL. Weird.

Maybe I'll find the stash this weekend as we are cleaning the coop out....who knows!! LOL.

No other chicken news to report, so have a GREAT weekend everyone!!

I'll be driving from Fayetteville area to Augusta, Georgia on Sunday, down I-95/I-20. If you know anyone on that route that might have hatching eggs for sale, let me know! I'm particularly interested in English Orps, Welsummers, BBS Ameraucanas, Rose Comb Brown Leghorns, and maybe another whirl on Dark Brahmas. Or I can pick up for someone else. Or deliver. Let me know soon, though!

Happy Friday Chicken People!

So excited for a nice warm weekend although I will only get to enjoy half of it. All the chicks are still going well. Hopefully once it warms up today can take the kids outside with me and we can work on the run... Got gate door completed but need some concrete to make sure the post doesnt shift.

Anybody know where you can see the link for the half monitor coop that is on the home page for the coop contest. I clicked on the link but it does not show that coop. That would be the coop I would love to have.

Also I am going to need some help identifying some of the girls I got. Pictures coming later...

We need a nice sunny day!!!!!

It is so much easier, when all that are out from the lamps can run in the grass, or brush, while I run the hose!

Happy hatching, and happy spring!
