5% carbaryl sevin dust.  It only comes in 1 pound plastic(yellow/red) shake cans now for alot more $$$ then it used to.  I really miss the $8 five pound bags I used to be able to get just a few years ago.  The cheapest place I find it now is Lowes hardware in 3 packs.

Thanks Matt. My locale feed store sells the 10lbs bags for 10$.

Evening everyonel. Had a busy weekend. Did yard work Saturday till lunch with DH. Then started painting the coop and run. Have one more side to paint and probably give a 2nd coat to make it look even. Then the wire goes up around the run. If the weather stays nice and I can get everything finished, I'ld like to see the girls in their new home by end of month (or sooner). DH is complaining about all the dust in the garage and how dirty it is making his car

Told him to be glad I moved them to the garage and they are out of the house

Will download some pics tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about your losses everyone. Had a friend recently loose their whole flock of 6 hens the other night. They think it was fox. They only have a hook latch on their coop. Gonna make sure I have something more secure on my pen door. Live and learn I guess.
Have a good night all.

Made it back home! I picked up the local sale book down there, and planned on stopping on my way home to pick up another NZ doe, but ended up getting my time sucked out from under me by my inlaws. Grrrrrrr. But I had a good visit with my parents, and got to spend some time with my niece, so all is well. I did not look at chicken ads at all. None. Refused.

Hey everyone. I am in Monroe, NC. I have 2-3 Buff Chantecler chickens I am trying to find a home or homes for. I would like to find someone local to ensure their safe arrival. 2 look to be show quality. They are 3mos. old and hatched on the 25th of Nov. Does anyone know someone who may be interested?
