What are the biggest threats out my way? I am just north of Rocky Mount; completely in the country. The plan is to free range all day, but honestly, I'm scared. Chicks/keets will have a run connected to the coop, which won't be on the ground and won't be out unsupervised for any amount of time because I know the hawks will carry them off.

Where is the best place to get a game cam? Haven't gone that route, but I wonder if it wouldn't be prudent.

What are the most important security measures you would suggest?

One of my biggest worries is hunting season. Last year, there were hunters dragging a carcass across the front horse pasture- WITH the horses and my daughter out in it!!! They let the dogs run wild, and we had one that we called the number on the collar because you could tell she didn't want to go home. The owner/hunter came and picked her up. But sheesh. This kind of stuff gives me nightmares.
