Went to my first auction today.. Learned alot. Kept my hand in my pockets.

Boy.....sure is tempting!
I have a bunch of chickens that need to go, I have them listed on CL but only sold 1/2 of what I want gone. So I will try the auction.

Also won another auction here.... NOPE not Emus....

Word has come from McMurray Chicks have/are shipped. I received emails regarding shipping today ssaying to expect them sometime tomorrow or Tues. I'm thinking they just printed off the shipping labels today and it auto generated a email and they will actually ship tomorrow. At least that is what I am hoping and they didn't stick them in the mailbox today. Poor lil things. Anyways, I will post pics when they get here on (assumption) Tues.

OOo and I have runner duck eggs due to hatch this Thrus. I plan to sell just the drakes, since I already have 3. These are surprise colors.

I think I may have a problem.

I want blue runners. I LOVE the almost white blues with the black beaks.

I know Gavinand Allison are looking for a silkie hen for their new guy Henry.

Wow, the last two days have been very "fruitful" so to speak. Yesterday we planted 9 blackberries and trimmed our grape vines and tilled the garden. Today we planted a crab apple tree, some raspberries, 11 blueberries, trimmed the persimmon trees, apple trees and the peaches and tilled a new area for the rhubarb plants.

I sure hope spring is around the corner.
