He boarded his layover flight from ATL to FAY at 12:15 but the flight status is still showing them as waiting on the tarmack for the past hour and a half. I think the rain is causing take off delays. Making the time pass sooooooo sloooooow!
Happy Mr Dutch is coming home soon.

Good to see you! Hope the new job is only killer during the break-in period and that things get better! I am always grateful that I love my job, even if it is a lot of work.

Loved seeing everyone at the show! I've missed hanging out with you guys. I had a good time, and even hubby enjoyed himself, although at one point he said all the chickens looked alike. Silly man! But he was pleased with the couple things we won from the raffle table. We stopped at the big antique store in Dunn on the way home, and then hit Cracker Barrel for a late lunch/early supper.

Of everything at the show, I liked the Salmon Faverolles looks the best. I'll have to look into the breed a bit. Tammyfarms said that from her reading, they might be picked on by other more dominant breeds, as they are pretty laid back. But the trio that were there were lovely. The owner said she got them at an auction, so she didn't breed them herself.

If you were there and I didn't know you to say hello, I'm sorry I missed you! Maybe next time we should designate a meet-up spot and time so those of us who don't know each other can find each other. I know Beth, CSB, RF, and Tammyfarms, so met up with all of them there.

:)

Thanks Hollow,

Like anything else, job is great, just tough in the beginning learning a companies different methods in acheiving the same goal. I believe it will be better in the long run, which is one reason I went there.
I need to go to this show, you guys are always going too! I bet its wonderful. Hey even if it isnt, hitting up the Cracker Barrel on the way home could make anything worth it.
Funny comment about your husband, my wife says the same thing. I gotta give her credit, she tried when I started out with just three or four breeds. She was happy to be able to tell them apart. Now with 15 different types, she pretty much gave up. I think she still picks up a little bit of info a little here and there, but I pretty much bore her with it.

Yeah when I asked DH if he wanted to go to the chicken show he asked me what they were gonna show him. I told him you walk around and look at different types of chickens. He told me "I can walk outside for that."

But the kiddos have decided that they want to try showing
