Are they together now or will they meet for the first time tomorrow? I haven't feed med. food either. I let mommies take care of showing the chicks what to eat and getting them out and about to build immunes, plus all mine eat FR including chicks. Just curious as to what breeders with alot more experience than me feed. Thanks.

aww Daddys what a big mush you are, how cute..

They will meet for the first time later today as they will go in a pen together overnight, being that it is just the two of them away from all others they should bond very quick.

Did you candle the last two to make sure they were not still in there? Maybe they just need some help??

(I'm not exactly sure what pipped & zipped & all of that means, but nonetheless, I am sorry it didn't work out for you).

Daddy - those are some seriously cute chicks. Don't worry, I won't tell your wife...unless,

I could tell her I dropped them off.

Question for you all: Bantam's are "smaller" versions of the "standard" breeds, am I correct in my understanding? If so, how difficult is it here in Central/Eastern NC to get standard breeds? I like big fluffy chickens (

the Orps that I like I recently read were English ones...boo) but still learning!!

The English orps are here in the US, some even in NC. Just depends on what color you are wanting?
