So, vfem - when a broody hatches the eggs for ya how long does she raise them for? Trying to figure out if there's any chance my coop would be ready in time! Also, do you have bantams and standards together?
And we are definitely neighbors - I'm very close to FV here - the Sunset Lake Rd. portion anyway! And awesome blog! I really need to sign up for your jam making class! Somehow that skill was never passed down to me from my grandmas who where both big on making preserves and things. Sounds like lots of fun!

Well we just got the last bird washed and blow dried, 11 in all.

Wanted to let everyone know that there will be a young serama pair available for sale as well as a few serama eggs and some mottled Japanese eggs. Anyone interested please just stalk me down tomorrow!

Ahhh just had the pleasure of waking up the whole house early on a Sat. morning..... We are going to the swap. Now off to feed & water and hopefully everyone will get ready so we can leave. I am going early, I don't want to spend my whole day out, looks like its going to be beautiful today and I have tons to do around the yard.
