I hope your poor little naked neck is cheering you up - I imagine you chuckle every time you look at him!

So I've been wondering about mixing the large fowl with the Bantams and was excited to hear that you have both! I love the Cochins, Brahmas, and Orps but you can't help but love the Silkies and some other little guys, too. So they can all get along just fine w/o the little ones getting picked on!?!? Do you think smaller ones are ok w/ young children?

VFem, if that's the case I might just take you up on your little bantams!!!

HT - GORGEOUS!!!!! Love them!

DaddysChickens - soooo cute! You're going to have a whole lotta chickens on your hands!!! They are adorable!!!

I picked up a dozen silkie hatching eggs locally and this hideous blob hatched out on New Years. I was freaking out...thought it was a mutant chickens. Emailed the seller and found out he is a Turken x Easter Egger. Slipped the egg in accidently. He grows on you.. Thankfully he has a "boe tie" otherwise is neck would be totally naked.

The Cream Cheese Brownies are about done and they have this whole house stunk up. I used a new recipe this time. If they taste half as good as they smell they won't last long.

I wonder if any will make it to the show tomorrow for ya'll to enjoy?

Stupid me.

P.S. The worst "Nut-cakes" live in/near Sylva, N.C. and try to hatch "Emu eggs". (and consider crossing them with TURKEYS!) TOO MUCH "White-Likker", I suppose......
