That awkward moment when you are thinking "well, I guess those eggs just aren't going to hatch" but then realize it's only been two weeks. I think I'm losing it!

I'm in Youngsville here, but moving to Bahama later this year. Still contemplating the closest feed store! Is there anything in N. Durham?

ETA, saw somewhere that the Wake Co. Shelter has three roosters available for adoptions. I can find the info again for anyone interested.

Anyone want to do a drake trade? I have a 7-8 week old khaki campbell drake that I would like to trade with someone for some genetic diversity. Would like it to be under 2 years old and either khaki or dark.
Mine came from TSC from Mt Healthy Hatchery.

Good morning everyone! It's SO nice out!

Just got back from the All American 5k (wanted to do the half marathon, but they don't let you push strollers in that).

Incubator's all loaded up fingers crossed for an amazing hatch! Finally got some eggs from Greg at www.ultimateorpingtons.com can't wait to see what I get. The eggs are spangled orpington, jubilee orpington, chocolate orpington, buff leghorn, lavender leghorn & Russian orloff. I also have some Black Copper Marans and Lemon Cuckoo Orpington eggs from ebay and Exchequer Leghorns from a BYC'er. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be inundated with chicks!

Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful Sunday!!!
Dutch, I'm surprised you didn't pick up the Emus he has listed on his page! Am looking forward to pictures of your hatch!
