My awesome son graduates from Appalachian State University tomorrow! Woohoo! This mom can't get any prouder! Plus, he also got a biology degree, following in my footsteps. Now to see what he's going to do with it! Well, first stop will be five weeks in Vietnam catching snakes. Then....the world better look out! Another one of my kids about to take it by storm! Hope he goes on for his graduate work, but I think he'll want a break first.

Just needed to brag a bit!

Brag on! That's EGGcellent!

My daughter is a grad of Appalachian State.....absolutely loved it.....Congrate to him for his accomplishment and to you for setting such a great path for him to follow!!!

Made a decision to cast off my Spithauben and remaining Hamburgs...adults and chicks too...gonna go a different route. Have several birds that I need gone as I am wanting to add another breeding trio, fouro, fiveo or....?

I want to mix up some egg layers and drop the Spitz.
I like them but not enough room to do my thing!

On craigslist. PM me if interested..
Motivated!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Make your kids take care of all the birds today and relax!
Haha DH just told me to enjoy some alone time while he takes the kids to buy my mother's day card-- nothing like waiting until the last minute!

I got the peacock last week though, so that was a good present.

Side note- I am so MAD at myself!!! Since so many eggs came out of the bator I put the egg turner in yesterday to make it easier for me. It's on my dining room table so I sat all the eggs on the table, put it in, then put all the eggs in the turner. The only lavender leghorn egg I had that was looking good must have rolled along the back side because I didn't see it until this morning after it had been out for almost 24 hours and ice cold.
