sounds like you had a way to address the situation that could
satisfy everyone.......at least you gave the former owner a chance
to reclaim at no cost to them........if they won't claim them then
they won't care for them........just my 2 cents.
I agree....you have done all that in my own mind could be done to satisfy any legal claim...think with catching them,, giving the opportunity to claim/take care of them.....you would be doing a very humane thing to sell them to cover your costs.

Thanks everyone. I'll definitely make sure that their owner gets a chance to claim them and keep them penned up and out of trouble. Of course, this is all assuming that I can catch them to begin with! I have a hard enough time catching my own guineas...

Would anyone in the Statesville area be interested in a 6 week old male khaki campbell mix duckling? I rescued three from a pond right after easter and this little boy is getting picked on by my older drake. He seems to have a little bit of trouble walking, but he's very cute :D

Hello All!

New here.. I live in Sanford with my husband, dogs and chickens :)

My flock is all still young, but it is amazing how quickly I have become chicken obsessed!

I am currently seeking a few 6-12 week old EE or Ameraucana pullets if anyone has some or knows of any..

Thanks!

Home again, home again, jiggety-jig!

Down to Georgia, watched my niece graduate, went to dinner, then back on the road and home. I checked my calendar on the way home, and the first day I have that has absolutely nothing scheduled is June 4. Then June 11. How did I get so booked up??

Britney, welcome to BYC. You might pm Tammyfarms. She lives in Sanford and I believe has at least the EEs.

Welcome! I am in Sanford too, right now in the Olivia area but moving soon close to the Cumnock area. :)

I have week old pure blue Ameraucanas and Olive Eggers. They are younger than what you're looking for but I'd sell them to you for $5 each if you were interested. :)
