Due to health problems I am trimming my flock back substantually. I have 6 or 7 Del chicksof the 5th generation from Kathy in Mo. I have a couple of Buff orps too. They would go to a good home. They would need pickup. The dels are 3 months and 1month old. I also have some olive egger chicks at 1 month old. Pick up in Franklin, Nc would be required. I hate to part with any but health requires I cut back. I will be keeping my older hens whom I have got attached to and a few buffs.

Sorry to hear you are having health issues and need to trim your flock
numbers. Hope all will be well soon.

Hey guys. When you have a hen go broody, do you let her hatch her eggs while with the flock or in a separate area. I've always given them their own area, but I've heard some people let them hatch them while with the flock and just raise them with the flock. Won't the other chickens, especially the roosters be aggressive towards the chicks?
Some I have to move but most I leave where they are. Roosters don't normally bother my chicks, it's the other hens that will normally bother chicks.

I got a very sweet 2 month old sandy flemish buck for sale and a 1 1/2 month old red eyed white new zealand doe I'm looking to trade for a wheel barrow ( preferably two wheels )

That's cheating, two wheels are for old farts! I poured pool decks with a single wheel back in the day.

lol I was always taught to work smarter not harder and ill try to save my back grissle as much as possible haha I'm planning to dig a pond by hand down a hill in the pasture then haul the dirt up the hill to grade for future waterfalls plus two wheelers last longer IMO I have over 16 years in landscaping and nursery work
