Oh my he looks just like red. My 20 week roo I lost Saturday. My fault I had open the slide door to the back lot so they could play with the vines and grass back there. The only part of the run not covered. Found a hawk making breakfast of him. Shut the back part off. I guess I underestimated the hawkThis is my favorite rooster. He follows me around the yard whenever I'm out there. They got coccidiosis as chicks so they've been slower to grow. I know he's going to start crowing on me soon though and have to go. He has such a pretty sheen on him, can't really see it from the photo. My husband wants to process next week before we go out of town, but I'm hanging onto him as long as I can.![]()
