North Carolina

I've posted my BBS English Orpingtons and my two Gold-laced roos on Craig's List. I'm selling out of the English. I need the room to work on my Golden Cuckoo Marans. Prices range from $20 for two month olds to $50 for adult hens and the GL. BBS roos are $30. Ages are from two months to about 18 months. Bloodlines vary. GL are from Backacre Farm in Florida, who bred them using 100% Fancy Chick stock. My BBS are a combination of Roger Harrison stock and Breezy Barnyard, who got her stock from Bout Thyme Farm. My younger chicks are direct from Bout Thyme. I was planning on expanding them, but have decided to shift to the Marans instead.

BYC special only, so respond through here, not CL...if you buy two or more hens I will give you a cockerel. Pullets pictured to show lacing.

Good morning folks

For me we are heading into a busy time of year......
lots of things to be done in the yard and house besides
the regular things. I hope to find enough time to do
some baking since I have duck eggs to use. Of course
if I do bake where am I going to put it?

hope everyone has a good day

What are the most common predators in NC? Planning to move there next year and would like to make sure my new coops will accommodate for any new predators I will be facing. Here in FL I have an enclosed run attached to each coop and the coop doors stay open so the chickens can go in and go out without having to wait on me. Is that possible in NC and what predators do I have to prepare for if so? Thanks
