haha it's so weird seeing chickens in urban environments. I used to have two roosters in a crowded neighborhood. No one would suspect there were chickens there except when you heard the constant crowing.

Hellos everyone. My husband, kids and I just moved to Eastern North Carolina about 3 weeks ago. Sadly I had to give all my chickens away before we moved, but I am happy to say that we just put an offer on a house and hope to be moved in by mid January. I plan on getting more chickens as soon as we are settled in. I am considering getting some ducks as well. Does anyone else here have ducks? If so how are they compared to raising chickens? We will be converting an old small horse stable into the chicken coop and I was wondering if I would need to keep the ducks and chickens separated or if they would be okay living together.
It's Black Friday. Ugh. We will avoid shoppers and stores today as we toodle about our business. Those of you who choose to go out...good luck!
Like the rest of my family we will avoid black Friday. But we will still do a dangerous thing. Visit the fridge for all that banana pudding, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, etc. that is left over.Everyone have a great and safe day whatever you do and enjoy your family.
