What a nice weekend we had here. I managed to get a few
things done........wish I had gotten more done but it's okay
......just gives me something to look forward to next weekend.

I got my new brooder finished and painted, still have lots of work on my new pens/barn to do, but it's going be 80 here today so as soon as the kids and I are done with their lessons, back to work I go..

Yep! Got brooder cleaned out, and some chicks moved out. Got the quail all cleaned up. Still lots more to do, once finals are over. Just a few more days....
I can not wait to clean out the feed room!!!!

Very cool. My first chicks are doing great, and I have eggs going in the Bator tomorrow. I'm new to this but am enjoying it. I love taking my chicks for outside time.

Got my zucchini, squash, cucumber , okra and tomatoes planted today! Dottie (my nosey speckled sussex) been looking at it like a salad bar! I got my eye on you Dottie!

Lol...she'll be the one hiding in a bush at dusk so she can sneak to the salad bar before everyone gets outta bed the next morning..I have a red that stays out 2 hours after everyone else is in bed..she's like 'you guys are fools, see me down here eating all this stuff..right here see..' She will try to trick them into joining her with her rooster/mama hen noise and it worked a few times til the rest realized it was just weeping willow branches and nothing good..

love a thinking chicken...........chicken salad bar gardens.
