For no reason in particular what do y'all do with all your eggs sell/donate/ use ?????

Eat them, do a lot of baking to share, and have a waiting list for egg sales. We could easily sell our legal limit (30 doz/week) but we won't exceed that, because we don't want to grade the eggs. Our customers like the idiosyncrasies of the ungraded eggs. I do size them. I keep the smallest, and sell mediums and large/extra large packs.

Remember to review the NC Egg Law for care and labeling requirements!

For two people who never ate many eggs, my hubby and I now eat eggs 4 or 5 days a week. And the other days we have French toast or some other egg consuming dish. And I scour Allrecipes.com for recipes that include eggs, the more the merrier.

I don't bake any where near enough to use my duck eggs, a majority of them get scrambled and fed back to the birds. And every two weeks, when I make the dog food (a turkey/California vegie mash) I add in 15 - 20 duck eggs.

I've found that the best way to get my family to eat eggs when we have a lot is to make egg salad or deviled eggs. If we still have to many, I will intentionally scramble or boil more than we will eat and feed them to the chickens as a source of extra protien. I also gift them to my kids' teachers (which they love). I sell several doz a month at work as well.

Feeding chickens moldy or expired food can result in vent gleat. Gleet?? You don't want that. The best rule of thumb is asking yourself if you would eat it. If not, compost it.

Hey gang!

My 4 older girls are struggling through a molt. We went out of town over the weekend and I bought a bag of the Nature Wise Feather Fixer and put in in their feeders. Got back late last night and couldn't really see them in the dark. This morning I let them out and the flock looks like a whole new set of lovely ladies! My oldest australorp is shining and shimmering green again! The poor girl was looking rough the last few weeks! And, I had an egg in the nesting box this morning. They had all quit laying since the molt started about 4 weeks ago! I wish I had tried this sooner!
