I think a lot of people are still in the recovery stage, but progress is being made to get back to some type of normal.

Miss Lydia now has power, but cell and internet service is not working very well if at all.

Many are displaced since their homes either have a lot of damage or were destroyed, so it's going to take some time to rebuild or figure out what next steps will be.

Continued prayers are always welcome.

It's so sad to see so many people suffer out of these things. I hope everything gets back to normal, and becomes even better than before.

The only thing that can never be recovered is the souls if anyone died because of this.

I always make prayers for these issues to resolve. May God help all these people pass their tests and be safe and give them health and everything they need. (I won't name him so anyone can say amen regardless of their religion).

By the way, in Malaysia where I live, it's been raining everyday so strongly. Around two weeks ago, a river which we get all the water from (the river is very large and long and is the main river in the specific state we live in, and even though the water is dirty, they filter it properly and give everyone the water from it), it basically started rising heavily, and the river was passing next to a street near my home, most of the time we pass through it, and this road was flooded fully by the river, and cars were carried and all these things. I am not sure if anyone died but most likely yes because so many people are usually there. I thank god we weren't there at that time, because we really could've.

In fact, while I am writing this, it's raining heavily. It rains to the extent the floor in the garden is soaked and there is extra water above it. I think other states with sea are also flooding.

Here is a picture of a place in my garden I just took just now. It's only been 5 minutes since it started raining today. Also, it's extremely sunny and hot in the morning, but at noon it rains everywhere and cools down.

I feel like the whole world is experiencing bad things right now for some reason. I hope all these issues gets solved in all the countries.

Well I am so surprised I am here since the 22nd I haven’t been able to get online. Still can’t on my computer but yay I can on my phone. I’m sorry your country is having flooding @Hamudazahabi and I hope no one has lost their lives because of it. We did finally get our power back on 10-24 almost a month. But there are many who still haven’t and we were told it will be months for many. I hope any who are still going through this know we are praying it’s heartbreaking to know many are suffering still.
Those videos were awesome @fuzzi I wish those guys were around here we could sure use their expertise.

I am so sorry to hear you are experiencing flooding as well. It makes me sad & heartsore to see & hear of all the destruction Mother Nature is dishing out this year!

Including you in my prayers as well as the southern US states affected by Hurricane Helene.

Little by little they're getting to people and helping.

I saw a post on X showing donated travel trailers and propane bottles being distributed. I love seeing how people from all over are helping others who they've never met.

Thank you. The issue you have though is way bigger, as there is the hurricane. The flood happening is mostly in streets so I don't think anyone lost their homes so far, but I think some people drowned in the street.

Thanks. The biggest thing I always think about is how I literally could have been there at that time, and how even though I wasn't, one day I could be in another place when suddenly something happens. Simply being alive is already a great thing God gave us because dying is so easy nowadays.
