How has everyones day been? We had to turn the air on today it got up to 81 in the house! Did I tell you guys we re-homed our silkies? My mom also had a allergic reaction to the chickens, so we built a brooder in the garage for the rest of the chicks. We now have to re-home Clementine

I hope everyone is having a good day! I am sitting next to the incubator waiting for the chicks to hatch

Ruthann - a brooder box is something secure to keep the birds in until they go out in your coop/house!

This is my favorite move. At one point they looked like a bunch of drunken sailors all laying around stretched out. Too funny!

2 eggs left and the solitary little cochin egg goes in tomorrow.

Hope you're all having a good day!!!

they are precious scm, no idea on what your mistery chick is but love the feathered legs on that one. Congrats on the hatch, they all look very healthy. My little frizzle took her 2 out today and they had their first dust bath, and also ate meal worms, it was so cute.
